Message of support

To all the people demonstrating today in support for the poor and
jobless, for those with low wages and insecure jobs. For all those who
suffer in one way or another as a result of the system of exploitation
and the unfair redeployment of social riches.

The Central Organisation of Sweden's Workers, SAC, sends greetings of
support and solidarity to all demonstrating for the right to a decent
life. 
The recent actions of those seeking work and their occupation of
unemployment bureaus and social welfare offices are admirable examples
of a just reaction against an unjust situation. 

Your fight for the right for a decent life, with dignity and comfort, is
an example to all who are pushed to the wall by the unfair social order
we have today.

The resources are stolen from the people to pay the price of the
convergence criteria leading towards a common European currency. This
new monetory system will not make life easier or more secure for the
majority of people but will increase the level of poverty and suffering.

It is a "reverse Robin Hood policy" where they steal from the poor to
fatten the rich. 

The fight in France is an example to the rest of us in other parts of
Europe and encourages us to organise and resist the anti-social
tendencies dominating Europe today.

We wish you all strength and unity in the fight for a better world
