    Result of June 17. 1999 General Meeting poll : 800 strikers plus about 100 non strikers not admitted to the poll.

    1st poll. General meeting voted almost unanimously for following trade unions representatives proposal :

    " To begin a real negotiations process allowing management to present their position and trade unions representatives to defend all alternative measures in order to gain renunciation of outsourcings and delocalizations and to negotiate conflict issue at the earliest. "

    2nd poll. Strikers general assembly voted strike renewal unanimously minus 12 abstentions.

    During the discussions Unions/Management, a race is organized since June, 10, around ELF premises at the CSTJF. The race takes place daily from 7 a m to 7 p m. A night race and a lunch are scheduled on Monday, June, 14.

    Runners may be on foot, rollers, bicycle...any other non-motor item... This is outside ELF premises, hence it is open to anybody. The race will end with the discussions.

    Flash : picnic on Friday June 18. In front of CSTJF entrance with participation of Legrand establishment strikers.


    In Paris :
    The computer center is still down and occupied.

    From a decision of the meeting of June, 7, the strikers distributed on June, 10, about 50,000 tracts explaining the strike. The distribution during two hours at the subway entrance met numerous evidences of interest, and sympathy. Read the text which was distributed.

    In Court : the judgment of Nanterre on June, 6 :

    The Unions called upon the untimely production of documents supporting the contested " Performance project ". ELF EP had to pay FF 10,000 (about $1,500) to the Unions.
