Our President had already shown his inability to settle social problems, now he has also shown us that he is incompetent as a financier.

The comments of our management (Sources: Les Echos, Radio France Pau Béarn) about the defeat of Elf against Norsk Hydro are very instructive:

We recommend Mr Jaffré to contact the winners of a well-known T.V. game... They might give him good advices for his next financial operations. As a matter of fact, one wins more easily when there are no competitors (in a game that consists in awarding stock options to yourself, for instance).

Well, let us be good losers, as everyone knows honesty is an essential virtue in the world of finance. By the way, maybe our President could apply for the "Monsieur Loyal" position (the compère) in a circus, they need somebody to revive the role.
